24 hours live from Milla Club and broadcast on Radio München
23-24 December 2015 (ca. 260 Versions!!)
A community music project open to EVERYONE.
Yes! From December 23, 2015 at 13:00 to December 24, 2015 at 13:00, we (our team of approximately 113 people) did present around 250 versions of Stille Nacht (Silent Night) for 24 hours in Milla Club Munich! Live versions, brand new audio and video versions, and many recordings from the collections of Munich DJs. It was a great time for everyone who participated and listened on Radio München, which decided to REPEAT the show all the way through the official German Christmas holidays, which ended at midnight on December 26 (for a total of 83 hours of non-stop Stille Nacht).
Thanks to Micha Hofmann, who helped me dream up the idea. Thanks to the composers of the song, to Milla Club, to the audiences who held a minute of silence at the top of almost every hour, Radio München and its over 500 listeners during the first 24 hours.
